Gary Paulsen Biography
Writer
Gary Paulsen writes books for children and young adults. His tales often feature young people facing up to a harsh wilderness or a harsh family life. Paulsen is famously prolific; according to his publisher he has written more than 175 books. His most famous tale, Hatchet, is the story of a boy who survives in the Canadian wilderness with only the title tool for help.
